PETER GRÍSA
Peter Grísa was born in 1962 in Ružomberok, Czechoslovakia (now Slovak Republic). In 1977 – 1981 he studied at the School of Applied Arts (today the School of Arts and Crafts of J. Vydra) in Bratislava, at the Department of Graphic Design under Prof. Gabriel Štrba, st. and Prof. Jozef Dusík.
In 1984 – 1990 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava at the Department of Free Printmaking and Book Illustration under Prof. Igor Rumanský and Assoc. Prof. Ján Lebiš. In 1988 he completed a study stay in Italy at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Perugia, at the Department of Printmaking and Nude Drawing.
He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovakia (Dolný Kubín, Trenčín, Levoča, Martin, Bratislava), Belgium, Finland, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Germany, the USA, Italy and Poland.
He lives in Trenčín and is engaged in book design, free computer graphics, illustration and drawing.
